Spring clean Refuse vehicle Saturday 18th May

Ridgewell Parish Council provides an annual rubbish collection service to Ridgewell residents, which this year will be Saturday 18th of May. On this day, between 9 and 11:00am a refuse vehicle will park at the village green for residents to bring items. The vehicle then drives around the village collecting items left out. The service is paid for by your council tax so we are keen for all residents to benefit.

For general items. Bulky items at operator’s discretion. Cannot accept sofas, electrical items including TVs, fridges, freezers, computers, asbestos, liquids, batteries, rubble or hazardous waste, paint, oils, tyres, chemicals, upholstered items:

  • Sofa beds

  • Sofas

  • Armchairs

  • Kitchen & dining room chairs (containing any upholstery)

  • Stools & footstools (containing any upholstery)

  • Home office chairs (containing any upholstery)

  • Futons

  • Bean bags, floor and sofa cushions

  • Including any part made of or containing leather, synthetic leather, other fabric or foam.
