Ridgewell Coronation Village Hall was erected by public subscription to mark HM Queen Elizabeth II's Coronation in 1953.  It was extended and upgraded to mark the Millennium and a project to further extend and refurbish the hall was recently completed.  The hall serves as the focal point for many clubs and activities.

It has a well-equipped kitchen, toilets (ladies, gentlemen, disabled, junior) and baby changing facilities.  Outside there is a playing field,  small football goals and a range of play equipment.  Four new pieces of equipment (a zip wire, giant climbing frame, pirate ship and swings) were installed in October 2016.  In 2018, four more pieces of equipment (nature trail, merry-go-round, springer, and baby swings) were installed.  Funding is being sought to install a Multi-Use Games Area (MUGA).

 The hall has its own car park with space for approximately 25 cars with two dedicated disabled parking spaces.

The hall is a registered charity (No. 301384) and is run by the Village Hall Management Committee under the terms of its trust deed.

The play equipment is now open for use at your own risk.   Please use the area safely and responsibly.  Children should be supervised by an adult at all times.  Parents/guardians should clean the equipment before use, observe social distance and encourage children to do the same, sanitise hands before, during and after use and thoroughly once at home.  Limit the amount of time and number of children per piece of equipment.  Adults may wish to wear a face covering.  Wash hands thoroughly for at least 20 seconds on returning home.
