NHS Volunteers required

Our local NHS is looking for people living in Essex to sign up as volunteers and help make a difference at one of the local hospitals this winter.

Volunteers are incredibly important to the NHS and make a valuable contribution to the quality-of-care patients’ experience.

There are several different roles on offer, providing challenging and rewarding opportunities for people of all ages and backgrounds:

BefrienderAssisting as a mealtime companionCatering runner or a ward runnerAssisting with administration

Volunteers are asked to commit just four hours a month, full training is given and travel expenses will be covered.
