COVID: Business Support Scheme

A new business support scheme called the Additional Restrictions Grant which is now open for applications. This grant is aimed at businesses which have been able to trade but have been severely affected by the restrictions. Importantly it is not limited to businesses which pay business rates and so is available to a wider number of businesses such as taxi companies, businesses in the events sector, hospitality and suppliers.

There are also two other schemes in operation, one for businesses that have had to close and one for businesses that have been able to stay open but whose trading have been severely restricted. Officers are organising two support sessions to help businesses understand the effect of the latest restrictions and the support available. See the above link for details.
